I know Alex since 2011. He was one of the first people who I met here in LA. In 2014 he offered me to join his company because previous business partner from Cardiosales LLC been "stealing money" from him. In 2015 Cardio Sales went out of business ( “because of bad business partner” ), plus his former girlfriend broke up with him, and "poor Alex" wanted to jump from high-rise and end his life. I truly felt bad for him and decided to help by restructuring the company under my DBA (JM Fitness Store). We agreed to file LLC when the company starts generating income (It was May 2015). We started operating. In October 2015 I got the first chargeback. Alex has been blaming everyone on customers, shipping company, weather.... Kept showing shipping receipts and various proves of everything is fine on his end. All of a sudden, on December 21st, 2015, my merchant account got frozen. I called the bank and tried to understand the situation, but the bank's customer service department told me to contact their fraud department for further investigation. I was extremely upset that my account was closed without any prior notice. But the banker informed me that they spoke with my “colleague” TWICE (on Dec. 15th & Dec. 20th, 2015), and gave me the number which they had on file- Alex’s cell number…… Alex started denying and told me that he did not receive any calls from the bank (but the bank confirmed all that info). He promised to take care of this situation. When we had our last meeting at Global Fitness, I told Alex that I will get a lawyer and report him to police, but he replied: “You will be sorry if you do”. And then he disappeared leaving me behind with multiple chargebacks. ALL inventory which was “supposed to be” delivered, was NOT DELIVERED!!! Alex took ALL THE MONEY and did not BUY merchandise! In August 2016 I know that he operates under the new business name - Cardio Addicts LLC, I called his “new business partner”, Bradley R Peterson and told him about my experience, stolen money, sent him people’s reviews, but he ignored my words and continued doing business with Alex. Aside from financial damage, I experience severe personal injury where my mental and physical health is being affected, and until today, I receive medical treatment. No one has the right to hurt people and steal their money. I have taken legal actions against Alex, and hopefully soon he will be stopped.
